Aromatherapy
A deeply relaxing and aromatic treatment that uses 100% pure high grade essential oils, individually blended for you, medicinally to improve the health of the mind and body, to promote health and well being, enhancing both physical and emotional health. Ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians are credited amongst the first humans to harness the many capabilities of essential oils. These ancient peoples developed the techniques used to extract essential oils from their natural plant habitats via distillation and pressing. They used essential oils because of their healing and medical properties, for cosmetic purposes and to aid in spiritual meditation and relaxation. Today we realise these same regenerative, healing, soothing and aromatic benefits when essential oils are inhaled, diffused, ingested or applied topically to the skin, and aromatherapy massage is a wonderful way to utilise these aromatic oils.

Remedial Deep Tissue
Intensive and deeply pressured, this massage works through the deeper tissue layers, including the use of elbows and arms for a deeper pressure using a warming muscle blend to warm through and relax the muscles for deeper tissue work. An ideal choice for chronic muscle pain, restoring range of motion and relieving pain. Enhanced cellular health, through increased blood and lymph circulation helps release connective tissue and nerves, leading to improved functioning.
Scar tissue formation is a natural part of the healing process when we injure a muscle tissue, ligament or tendon. The problem lies in the fact that scar tissue is not as strong or functional as the tissue it replaces. There is a lack of flexibilty in the tissue that in turn causes pain and dysfunction. Massage therapy helps break down scar tissue, encourages the formation of muscle tissue and reduces the swelling in soft tissue. It is recommended to leave 48 hours between treatments to allow muscles to recover.

Hot Stones Therapy
With it's origins from the ancients, dating back approximately 5000 years ago in India, and called Ayurveda, hot stones therapy is a warming, soothing, pressurised and deeply relaxing massage therapy using aromatherapy blends and heated basalt stones, made from volcanic rock that retain heat, to help relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout the body. Hot stones are both placed and massaged into the muscles and deep tissue work can be included in this treatment if a deeper pressure is preferred and is the ultimate muscle relaxer.

Advanced Magnetic Cupping
Cupping therapy has experienced a resurgence in popularity in recent years, thanks in part to high-profile endorsements by athletes. However, it is far from a modern invention.
This healing practice traces its roots back to ancient Chinese, Greek, and Egyptian civilizations. It has survived the test of time because of its effectiveness in promoting wellness and healing.
Think of cupping as the inverse of a massage. Instead of pressing down on the body's muscles, the suction lifts the skin, tissues, and muscles upward. This suction aims to promote blood flow, alleviate pain, reduce stagnation, and eliminate toxins that could reside in the body's tissues. Cupping has beneficial effects to the circulatory, muscular and respiratory system. Cupping is also seen as a means of opening up the body's meridians. these meridians act as pathways through which energy (qi) flows.

- Pregnant women
- Individuals with allergic skin reactions
Cupping aftercare:
During cupping therapy, you may notice darkened patches on your skin where the cups were placed. This is normal and will fade away in a few days. The colour changes are due to the process of drawing muscles, tissue, and skin upward, which facilitates the release of toxins and removal of any stagnant substances within the blood. These substances, including old blood, medications, cellular debris, and toxins, are drawn to the surface tissue just beneath the skin for easy dispersal.
The marks you see are a sign of significant release during the treatment and usually last from a few hours to a few days. The colour and pattern of these marks vary from person to person and depend on the level of stagnation in the treated area. They can range from a light pink to a dark purple, blue or grey. The appearance of these marks indicates that the underlying condition has been brought to the surface of the skin, allowing fresh blood to circulate beneath it. However, it's important to note that even if no mark appears after a cupping session, it doesn't mean the treatment was ineffective. Not all treatments will leave marks, and the presence or absence of marks doesn't affect the treatment's effectiveness.
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Give your lymphatic system the extra fluids it needs to flush your body of the toxins.
- Don't shower immediately after cupping (wait at least 3 hours).
- Keep the areas that were treated covered and warm.
- Avoid alcohol
- You may feel fatigued or experience flu-like symptoms the next day. This is normal. It's your body processing and expelling the toxins that were released during your cupping session.
- Take it easy, get extra rest, and practice good self-care. Your body will thank you!
